As the nation progresses toward the Singapore Green Plan 2030, businesses, including SMEs, will play an integral role in achieving sustainability. OUR SPEAKERS
Mr Wong Lup Wai
CEO, IPI
Mr Wong Lup Wai is the Chief Executive Officer of IPI. He is responsible for leading the strategy and growth of IPI in consultation with the Board of Directors. Lup Wai brings with him strong international management experience and deep knowledge of strategic planning, operations, and innovation and development. He spent 25 years with Philips Electronics Singapore, including a three-year stint at Philip's joint venture factory in Suzhou, China. He was the Managing Director of Philips Singapore from 2009 to 2012.
Mr Harish Methil
Innovation Advisor, IPI
Mr Harish Methil is Director of AmpUp Advisory, a boutique consulting firm focusing on business strategy, business models with a particular focus on circular economy and sustainability strategies. He is passionate about transformational and sustainability projects and is fully committed in contributing to UN Sustainability Development Goals.
Before starting his purposeful journey, Harish was Chief Executive Officer of Raj Petro Specialities Pvt Ltd - A Brenntag Group Company, since May 2018, and managed the global business based out of Singapore. Raj Petro is a multi–faceted petroleum and lubricant manufacturing and marketing company, offering a complete range of industrial, automotive, specialty lubricants in addition to the portfolio of transformer oils, petroleum jelly, and industrial wax.
Mr Jek Tan
Marketing Director, Rypax
Mr Jek Tan is the Marketing Director at RyPax where he oversees the development of marketing strategies, as well as sustainability initiatives that help clients achieve their ESG goals. He is passionate about helping global clients communicate the value behind their packaging solutions, allowing consumers to understand the need for waste reduction and circularity. With a vision to create a greener tomorrow, Jek intends to change the world by educating brand owners and converting plastic packaging to molded fiber. Focusing on technology, he believes that smart packaging is the next evolution as an additional touchpoint for brands to focus on consumer interactions.
Ms Melissa Moi
Head of Sustainable Business, UOB
Melissa Moi is the Head of Sustainable Business in the Corporate Sustainability Office at UOB. In her role, she supports the delivery of a sustainable business strategy across UOB’s footprint including the management and mitigation of ESG risk, development of sustainable business strategies and frameworks, supporting sustainable product innovation, and driving the bank’s leadership in sustainable finance.
Prior to joining UOB, Melissa spent a decade at Bank of America where she led the firm’s ESG efforts in Asia Pacific. Her role included client facing advisory on sustainability, driving a sustainable finance strategy in the region as well as the implementation of corporate ESG initiatives across risk, social investment, and environmental footprint.
Mr Yoon Young Kim
Cluster President Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei, Schneider Electric
Mr Yoon Young Kim is Cluster President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei at Schneider Electric. In his current role at Schneider Electric, he seeks to grow Schneider Electric’s regional presence as the leader of digital transformation in energy management and automation. He spearheads efforts to drive the expansion and manufacturing capabilities of the Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei cluster, with a focus on high-growth potential areas such as microgrids.
Mr Kim is also leading efforts in helping customers within these regional markets to operate more sustainably. He was most previously Cluster Country President for Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar for Schneider Electric – a role he held for over four years from 2016 to 2020.

Mr Alvin How
Head of Strategy and Marketing, IPI
Mr Alvin How is the Head of Strategy, Marketing & Communications at IPI where he oversees the development and operationalisation of organisational strategies through marketing and communications, as well as open innovation and partnerships functions. He was leading the food, healthcare, and sustainability department until 2021, engaging enterprises to understand their innovation gaps and supporting them in adopting enabling technologies, innovations, and know-how from IPI’s extensive network of technology partners.
Mr Geoffrey Yeo
Assistant CEO, Urban Solutions, Sustainability & Enterprise Finance
Geoffrey serves as Assistant Chief Executive Officer at Enterprise Singapore, the government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for championing enterprise development. He oversees the Urban Solutions, Infrastructure Services, Sustainability and Enterprise Finance portfolios. Prior to his current appointment, Geoffrey has previously held Director positions heading various portfolios including Circular Economy & Sustainability, Strategic & Corporate Planning, Financing and Incentive Management.
He was also the General Manager and currently on the Board of SEEDS Capital Pte Ltd, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore which directs investments into Singapore-based technology startups in emerging and strategic sectors. Before joining the public service, Geoffrey spent several years in the private sector, with experience across finance and business development functions. He received the Public Service Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2016.
