Aliya Ramji
Aliya is a Partner at McCarthy Tétrault and co-founder of MT Ventures, brings unparalleled expertise in startups and scale-ups. With a background in med-tech at Figure1, she's navigated global expansions, strategic alliances, and venture capital financing. Recognized for her leadership, Aliya advises founders and investors with a practical, results-oriented approach. A sought-after speaker and mentor, she champions women in startups and teaches at Toronto Metropolitan University. Aliya holds a J.D. from Queen’s University and an LL.M. from NYU School of Law, and is called to the bar in Ontario and New York.
Eran Ben-Ari
Ben-Ari is a seasoned technology leader with 15 years of experience driving product and engineering teams to success. With a focus on growth, people development, and customer satisfaction, he excels in enhancing product development processes and fostering high-performing teams. Formerly leading teams of 120+ people at Koru and serving as Chief Product Officer at Top Hat and Kik Interactive, Ben-Ari brings extensive expertise to his role at BenchSci. His background includes leadership positions at Rounds Entertainment, Hola, and Kampyle, demonstrating a strong track record of innovation and growth.

NUS Overseas Colleges
The NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) is a unique global entrepreneurship program. Established in 2002 in Silicon Valley in partnership with Stanford, the program sees top 3rd year undergraduates from Asia’s Best University spend 12-months working full-time with start-ups and other innovation stakeholders.
The NOC program has grown its footprint in 24 international innovation hubs, including Toronto (in partnership with the University of Toronto), Chicago (University of Illinois), and Stockholm (Royal Institute of Technology).
NOC Toronto was established in 2018. Over 100 companies across the Greater Toronto Area have worked with students who range from technical (Computer/Data Science, Analytics) and non-technical (Business, Marketing) backgrounds.
