Confidence on Wheels (CW)
An initiative by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Confidence on Wheels (CW) educates cyclists and users of personal mobility devices on safe riding practices, proper use of active mobility infrastructure and the rules and code of conduct under the Active Mobility Act. The programme places an emphasis on practical riding skills to help instill confidence and foster safe riding habits among participants.
PROGRAMME
- Introduction
You will be introduced to our NUSS Cycling Section, followed by information on the different types of active mobility devices, cycling infrastructure, types of paths, rules and code of conduct.
- Activity Stations and Circuit
Learn how to conduct safety checks on bicycles.
Enchance your device handling skills through activity stations with straight line, S-course, balancing without stopping as well as overhead obstacles.
- Scenario based discussions
Explore common scenarios you may encounter when on paths and how you can ride safely.
- Short quiz!
Testing your understanding of active mobility rules and code of conduct.
