In today's world, sea traffic is only expected to grow with the rising volume of trade and e-Commerce activities. For Singapore to be one of the world's leading smart ports, continuous knowledge-based port services and maritime-related expertise must be developed.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models are examples of rising technologies being utilized in maritime systems worldwide. AI/ML can be applied in facilitating risk analytics, hotspot prediction, and intelligent coordination of vessels. The competitive edge is thus generated when more vessels can pass through ports to experience reduced congestion and safer navigation. According to Nautic Expo 2018, Global maritime freight transportation revenue is estimated to reach USD $205 billion by 2023, up from USD $166 billion in 2017, and AI has been identified as one of the main driving forces for such results.

Join us with our speakers as they share more on innovative applications for the Maritime industry. Come to understand how the future of Maritime will be transformed while ensuring people's safety, decreasing incidents and accidents related to shipping, machinery, component and structure maintenance, fuel consumption, and efficiency.
