“Lies About God”
Pastor Scharf wrote a Bible study on "10 Lies About God" that float around in our culture - answering them Biblically and apologetically.
We are going to look at 6 of the 10 lies:
- “God just wants me to be happy”
- “There are many paths to God”
- “God helps those who help themselves”
- “A loving God wouldn’t send people to hell”
- “I don’t need the Bible or worship to have a relationship with God”
- “God doesn’t judge anyone and neither should you”
(The remaining questions in the study are: “God has grown softer on sin”; “Death is a natural part of life”; “It doesn’t matter how God made the world”; “God is distant and disinterested in what happens”)
Our Presenter - Professor of Theology
