An event organised by Parc Centros Residents' Network (RN) to encourage family bonding, foster friendship amongst neighbours and promote a healthy lifestyle for residents.
Challenge Period: 9 Aug 2022 - 31 Aug 2022
Registration Fee: $3 per participant
Terms & Conditions
1. Participants must be Parc Centros residents.
2. Participants are required to form teams of between 2 - 5 members, consisting of family members and/or neighbours. The team leader shall register for the event on behalf of the group.
3. Registration for this event will be capped at 50 participants, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
4. Each participant will receive a goodie bag worth estimated $20 upon successful registration of the event.
5. Participant will be notified on the date of collection of goodie bags. In the unlikely event of stock unavailability, the organiser reserves the right to replace the items with other items of similar value.
6. Participants shall complete a minimum distance of 5.7km (run/walk/cycle) outdoors in their own preferred routes in one session. Indoor/stationary bikes or treadmills will not be accepted.
7. The distance and route shall be captured by a GPS tracker (e.g. Garmin or Strava) as a screenshot. The screenshot must include any one of the participants' name, route taken and date of activity.
8. Participants are required to submit 3 welfies of all group members taken during their activity.
9. All submissions (screenshot of distance & 3 welfies) shall be sent to rn.parccentros@gmail.com no later than 4 Sept 2022 (Sunday).
10. Participants who successfully sent their submissions will be given an exclusive Parc Centros singlet/t-shirt (adult sizes only). The organiser will reach out to the group leader to obtain the sizes of the singlet/t-shirt for their team members. Distribution of the singlets/t-shirts is estimated to the 1 month from the end of the event.
Prizes for Most Creative GPS Route Designs
Prizes will be awarded to 3 groups with the most creative GPS route designs:
1st Prize: $100 shopping vouchers
2nd Prize: $80 shopping vouchers
3rd Prize: $50 shopping vouchers
