As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Gu Xuebin focused on technology and event industry for more than 20 years, developed Info Salons into the leading brand for event technology services in the world. He founded WeMeet, the first smart event and smart travel global service network. Partnering with world class technology and travel companies, WeMeet empowers business travelers with exceptional technology and services, to enrich their global meeting and travel experiences for a greater business success.
Prior to that, he took different IT and management roles for IBM, Mellon Bank, and other multinational companies in both China and the United States.
Mr. Gu Xuebin was certified as CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management) by IAEE, PMP (Project Management Professional) by PMI. He became a registered CEM instructor in 2006 and has been teaching Event Information Management (Digital Event Management) class in China for the past 16 years.
Mr. Gu Xuebin was appointed as the Chairman of IAEE Asia Council in 2017.
With a passion for product and technology, Jonathan leads the design team at Gevme where he helps re-imagine and build the future of shared experiences. From the start of Gevme, Jonathan has pioneered and has been the driving force behind the company’s product designs (both visual and conceptual). The balance between form, function, and UX, the role of Design in innovation, and the constant evolution of the Design practice in relation to product development has always been at the core of Jonathan’s obsessions.
Keerat drives revenue-generating initiatives at Gevme with a keen interest in innovations that are transforming the events industry. She has a passion for driving change towards more sustainable and environment-friendly events and has been working towards evangelizing such experiences.
Stefanie is an accomplished strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in sustainability, management and marketing. She is the Director of NorthSky Advisory, a sustainability consulting business committed to helping reverse the impacts of climate change and the degradation of our natural environment.
Stefanie was previously the Head of Market Transformation at WWF-Singapore, the world's largest conservation organization. She led a team of subject matter experts delivering impact across key environmental issues. Before joining WWF, Stefanie was Director of Partnerships for Eco-Business, a news resource for sustainable development in Asia. Her prior expertise was in leading sales and marketing activities in the automotive and licensing industry of premium brands. She studied international business administration and is fluent in German, English, and Italian.
Veemal Gungadin is the founder & CEO of GlobalSign.In Pte Ltd (GSI), the company behind the fast-growing event tech platform, Gevme. Veemal Gungadin graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor's in Computing.
Veemal founded GSI in 2007, architecting and coding the company's very first software platform. GSI is today a leading event tech company in Asia. Veemal remains at the forefront of technology and spearheads the product vision of the company's core platform, Gevme. As COVID-19 changes the nature of events and marketing forever, more than a software tool, Gevme has transformed into a platform and community to power the next generation of virtual & hybrid events.
Veemal volunteers his time at SACEOS as the VP of Digital and Innovation. He drives national-level initiatives in Singapore to help enterprises and individuals in the events industry digitally transform themselves to be future-ready.
