Every coffee is different and has its story to tell. Taste the wonder of its complexity of flavors, body and aroma. In this 90-minute virtual session, let Starbucks® Coffee Master (Siew Hui) bring you through a sensorial journey to discover a world of coffee exploration.
This masterclass will take you through all you need to know about Coffee Cupping, a professional practice in the world of specialty coffee. Together we will cup samples of coffee, locate, and describe the many flavor profiles and nuances through a helpful Coffee Wheel tool.

Each Masterclass comes with a Starbucks® Coffee Cupping Kit, which includes a Starbucks Reserve™ mug, Starbucks Reserve™ coffee cupping samples, a coffee flavor wheel and a cupping sheet. Participants will need to get ready some hot water, three spoons, cupping bowls or cups (of equal size).

Meet Siew Hui!
Siew Hui’s passion and curiosity for coffee first bloomed when she brewed her first cup of coffee with a manual espresso machine, and soon went on to compete in coffee competitions. In 2019, she clinched first place in the Singapore Cup Tasters Championship and went on to represent Singapore in the World Cup Tasters Championship in Berlin in the same year, placing 8th in the world. Siew Hui enjoys connecting with people through coffee while exploring and deepening her knowledge with each interaction.

Things to note:
- Upon registration, the Starbucks Cupping Kit will be delivered to you 2 – 3 days before the virtual session.
- Please ensure that your email and mailing address is correct.
- A Zoom link to the session will be sent to you via the coffee kit 2-3 days before the masterclass.
- The Zoom session will be password protected. Please refrain from sharing the link with anyone.
