On 15th Decemeber, discover exceptional Starbucks Reserve™ Colombia Pedregal and Starbucks Reserve™ Rwanda Kanzu. Experience the evolution of its flavors through the Chemex and French Press brewing process and learn about the story behind each coffee.
With its pyramid-shaped mountains, rich soil, and great microclimate, Pedregal produces some of the best coffee in Colombia. The agricultural history here is rich. And the clean, delicious flavors that continually emerge from the region prove the farmers’ skill, passion and dedication again and again. Experience this sweet and juicy cup – the legacy of generations of hardworking growers who’ve expertly harnessed the resources of the breathtaking place they call home.
Next, discover a sweet and layered cup. From February through June, hundreds of smallholder coffee farmers bring their crops to Kanzu Washing Station. There, surrounded by the towering mountain peaks of the Crête Congo Nil, 50 local men and women work to transform cherries into specialty coffee. This award-winning wet mill uses traditional techniques, but it’s the people behind the processing who make the difference. This sweet, layered lot captures the year’s best cherries, harvested at the very end of coffee season. As you’ll discover, they’re worth the wait.
