STEWARDSHIP COMMONS 2021
Stewardship Commons is a by-invitation only platform that convenes business leaders for an interactive exchange on the role of stewards in safeguarding our global commons. The life on Earth that we desire for today and tomorrow fundamentally depends on clean air and water, biodiversity, healthy land and oceans, and a stable climate. How do we influence decision-making and encourage the positive transformation of business systems to ensure a planet where we can all thrive?
Alongside such pressing challenges is the significant mismatch between the economic language which drives public and private action, and the finite realities that enable sustainable growth. A lack of consciousness and capacity often lead key decision-makers to prioritise short-term profit maximization at the expense of long-term value creation. More than ever, the world needs steward leadership to drive impactful behavioural change for sustainable business transformation.
Stewardship Commons is held in partnership with Temasek's Ecosperity Week.
