UXSG Meetup #54 · New Initiatives · 28 Mar 2019, Thursday
We would like to invite you to UXSG Meetup #54, where we will experiment with a different format for the meetup.
Part of this format will include an Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session where it is an informal discussion where attendees can ask the host all kinds of questions, just like in a conversation.
We are particularly delighted to have the following people as the AMA hosts for the upcoming meetup (A little research on your part before the meetup would go a long way in having more interesting questions!):
Khai Seng is the Head of Singapore for Foolproof. He has been in the experience design field since 2004, focusing on design research and interaction design. https://sg.linkedin.com/in/khaiseng
“Ask me about design, education, coaching, mindfulness, leadership, parenting and sea creatures.”
Zhi Min is a Digital Product Owner at UOB. He started human-centered design courses for NUS-ISS, where it has benefited more than 1000 mid-career professionals. At present, his new-found interest is in redefining digital banking 2.0.

"Ask me about digital innovation, software engineering, future of work in tech, making a mid-career switch and observing the world around us.”
Wei Kong is a designer at heart who has worked across different domains and sectors with multidisciplinary teams with a common goal of wanting to do better and make a difference. With a background in product design and manufacturing he decided to step away from hardware development to look at human side of design with the last 10 years spent developing realistic solutions to opportunities and issues around healthcare and an ageing population.

"Ask me about design for the public good, project management (aka cat herding), and how force majeure (as seen in contracts) can impact the decisions you make in life.”
Aditi leads the product design team at Indeed Singapore where she helps people get jobs. Aditi started her career as a graphic designer in print and is now designing software for deeply technical and complex products. She has transitioned from being a senior designer to a full-time leader and manager.

"Ask me about product design, immersive installations (my arts practice), women in tech, balancing qualitative and quantitative data.”
This UXSG meetup will be held on 28 March 2019, Thursday, 7pm - 9.30pm at the Auditorium, National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road, Singapore 188969.
For this session, participants are allowed to invite THREE (3) additional people of their choice, based on trust that they will extend the invite to the right people.
Please do have your dinner before the meetup, as only drinks will be provided.
